Day four and having a tongue piercing is still awesome, but the part where healing makes you sleepy is really annoying. The only thing making me get out of bed is that really sad face Akaya makes when I don't make him breakfast.
Ugh, and I still have a video to edit and dinner to cook... I don't wanna
[Edit:] Uuugh I forgot to take my pills, too. What am I supposed to do? Still take them? I'm only an hour late...
[Edit 2:] WAIT THIS IS ALL THE MEDICINE'S FAULT ISN'T IT. CHITOSE.

I'd like you to give it a few more days, as you should be fully adjusted to it by then. If things don't improve, we can try switching you to a different medication.

I don't start my shift til later, so sure...although I'm sure you're a better cook than me! What are you in the mood for, if anything?

Date: 2022-10-04 06:11 pm (UTC)Haha. Unfortunately I'm on shift right now. But I'll tell you what. When I get off, after I shower, I'll go make a big batch and freeze them for you. That way you can just pop them in the microwave to heat them up.

Date: 2022-10-04 06:20 pm (UTC)I know. But I'm not always going to be able to make them when you want them.

Date: 2022-10-04 06:47 pm (UTC)Well, you're welcome to come down when I make that big batch to freeze and have some fresh ones. But aren't you the one that's like, pastry chef or something?

Date: 2022-10-04 07:19 pm (UTC)Oh, I do. Good thing you're not the only chef on base 😉 You could always bug Kippei to cook for you. And I'll bet his pancakes are better than mine.

Date: 2022-10-04 09:34 pm (UTC)Well, thanks to the apparent lack of proper paperwork and quarantine procedures, a virus has been introduced to Yomi, and several people here have fallen ill from it. Most are exhibiting mild symptoms, but we do have a couple of more severe cases.

Date: 2022-10-05 12:33 am (UTC)The thing is, so far, it seems to be an ordinary rhinovirus. A common cold, basically. Healthy people might catch it, feel unwell for a few days to a week, and be on the mend. If someone has a compromised immune system or a respiratory condition like, say, asthma, however, it will be harder for their body to fight it on its own. It's rare that someone gets ill enough to die from this kind of virus, particularly if they're healthy to start with.
